Day 2: Up in the air

Activity 1: Flying Solo [4 Points]

Activity 2: One Small Step for Man [4 Points]

Moon seed
Nestled in trees
a jewel of the night sky
blooming among the stars
playing a game
of cat and mouse
inventing and granting
sweet dreams

Activity 3: Miracle on the Hudson [6 Points]

Back when I was four years old me and my cousin were watering the garden. I came inside and filled the watering can up and walked to the door. Then my cousin came and wanted to take the watering can of me so he was trying to get it off me. he then ran from the other side of the hall way to me and I stepped to the other side, and he ended up running through the door. He was lying on the floor with glass on him everywhere and blood everywhere. The ambulance hen came and he was just staying calm and happy. He had to get lots of stitches and now he has a big scar on him arm.

Thanks for reading!!! (special thanks to the summer learning journey team)

  3. Ahiahi Marie Brooklyn,

Kueni here from the Summer Learning Journey. I hope you are having a lovely summer break, what have you been doing? Kei te pai on completing all 3 activities from Week One, Day two, this is terrific work!

Firstly, I really enjoyed reading through your venn diagram. You have done a very good job at gathering all the pieces of information together and displaying this on your venn diagram, well done!

Secondly, what an awesome poem you have written today about what you imagine it would feel like to have been Neil Armstrong and being the first human on the moon. I can't even begin to imagine what it must've felt like, he must've had some really awesome stories about his experience up on the moon.

Thirdly, I am very sorry to her about your cousin, it is very important to be careful when running around, especially around glass. I really hope that he is alright now and I think what he went through has definitely made him a very brave young man!

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts, have an awesome day!

    Blog ya later,
    Kueni :)
