Combining Like Terms In Algebraic Expressions

this week my maths group and I have been learning about Combining Like Terms In Algebraic Expressions.
I found this activity a little bit difficult because doing the process for fining the answer to the equation was very confusing for me.
For this activity all we had to do was watch a video about it and then we had to read a model so then we know how to solve it. This activity is probably recommended for years 7 and 8.

Making Sensible estimates

This week for Maths we have been learning how to Make Sensible Estimates.
I found this task a little bit easy and I would probably recommend this task for year 7's.
Sometimes when I was answering the questions It was kind of confusing for me.
I would say that this task was fun for me and I learnt things I didn't know before.

Understand how exponents work

This week for Maths we have been learning to Understand how exponents work.
This task was a little bit easy and hard, it is easy because I know my multiplication and it is hard because sometimes I don't understand the questions and it is just a bit confusing sometimes.

Find, Select and retrieve information

This week for our Reading we have been learning about Find, Select and retrieving information.
This task was a little bit challenging because I didn't get to finish this weeks tasks because I need to work on managing time.
At the same time this weeks task was fun for me.
The LO and SC is on the google drawing.
 

Finding Key Words

This Activity was kind of easy for me and I think this activity is recommended for year 6's because this activity is too easy for year 7's and 8's. For this activity we just had to find key words and then find the meanings of them.

Brooklyn's Reading goals Term 1 2019

Just like the other Blog posts I have done this week this one is similar to the maths and Writing ones.
So the first thing we did was take screenshots of the levels that we got.
Then we did the same things and wrote our goals for Reading.

This week we have been doing our writing goals. All we had to do was put our screenshots on it and then write our goals we want to achieve.
All of the slides with screenshots on it have my levels from easttle.

Brooklyn's maths goals term 1

This week my class and I have been setting goals for our Writing, Maths and Reading.
First we all had to go onto easttle and go into our reports to find our levels for our work.
Once we found our levels we had to screen shot some of the pictures and put it on the google slides, we then and then we had to write out our main goals for this term.
