Combining Like Terms In Algebraic Expressions

this week my maths group and I have been learning about Combining Like Terms In Algebraic Expressions.
I found this activity a little bit difficult because doing the process for fining the answer to the equation was very confusing for me.
For this activity all we had to do was watch a video about it and then we had to read a model so then we know how to solve it. This activity is probably recommended for years 7 and 8.

  1. Hi Brooklyn my name is Melbourne.
I really like the way you have described what you have been learning about in math this week. I have a question for you, your first time learning algebra was it difficult to understand the way algebra was used in math? One of the things I really like about your DLO (Digital Learning Object) is the simple colors you used to break your black background and that was one of the things that caught my attention to this post.

  2. Kia ora,
My name is Dwayne and I really like how you have loads of information on algebraic expressions. When you had to do the algebraic expression task how was it for you, for me I found it difficult but I would like to know how you felt.
One thing you should add are some pictures just to make it more pleasing for the eye.
