This week my class and I have been doing this 10 days of Christmas blogging task.
For the first task we had to write 2 slides about what we do for Christmas and how we celebrate it, and for the second slide we had to find a different culture and see how they celebrate it and I picked Jamaica.

Inquiry poster

This term My school and I were learning about space and beyond for inquiry. After my class and I finished our presentations we had to make a google drawings about what you noticed about the other presentations. We had to write what you thought about the good presentations, what you thought about the presentations that were not that good and what you will do differently next time you present.

Kawa Of Care

Today we have been revising ourselves about the Kawa Of Care.
We had to create a google drawing and write our goals that we need to use when using our chrome books. Our goal that we had written on this google drawings is mostly for year 7's that are here next year because the year 7's will be year 8's next year and have to show the year 7's how to use their chrome books properly. This task was easy because all we had to do was read the kawa of care again and write our goals that we need to work on.

Tongan Language week

This week is Tongan language week and we have been practising the Tongan alphabet. The letters in the Tongan alphabet goes A, E, F, H, I, K, L, M, N, NG, O, P, S, T, U, V.
This week we have been presenting slides about Tonga we then had an assembly on Friday where our Tongan group did some dances and shared some things about Tonga.

simple, compound and complex sentences

This term for writing we have been learning about simple, compound and complex sentences.
Our LO for this activity was to create sentences and and highlight all of our success criteria in different colours.
I found this activity a little bit easy but I realised that this is important to learn as we can use this everywhere we go.
I think I need to learn on writing my sentences based on one thing and to use different conjunction words

This week for maths we have been learning about time series graphs.
Our LO for this activity was to get data and turn it into a time series graph.
I found this task a little bit challenging but I think this would be good to learn as it shows us that you could only use certain graphs to create time series graphs and other types of graphs.
I think I need to work on gathering the right data and to learn how to make a time series graph properly
